AYR Pass – Smart lock for coliving and apartments

AYR Pass smart lock for coliving, apartments and access control

The AYR Pass is an electronic smart lock designed to convert a conventional door into a digitally managed access controlled by smartphone.

It is part of the AYR Integra ecosystem, allowing it to be used within complete access control solutions for coliving, shared-rent apartments, short-term rental apartments, small residences, offices and other accommodations.

Its combination of Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, app-based management, integrated alarm, configurable auto-lock and rechargeable battery enables access control without relying solely on physical keys.

Ideal to control the main entrance of a coliving unit

For properties used in coliving or shared-rent schemes, the AYR Pass is particularly useful to manage the apartment's main entrance.

The administrator can manage who has access digitally and combine the Pass with other AYR Integra devices to create different authorization levels within the same building.

For example, it can be used together with an AYR Interphone for the building entrance and AYR Smart Handle locks on each room, creating a full access control solution from the building entry to each resident's private space.

Compatible with the AYR Integra ecosystem

AYR Pass is compatible with AYR Integra, the access control ecosystem from the Spanish brand AYR.

This integration enables access management via app and the combination of different devices within the same installation.

Mobile access management

AYR Pass allows lock control via application so the smartphone becomes the main access management tool.

Within an AYR Integra compatible installation, access rights can be administered digitally, reducing the need to hand over or recover physical keys each time a guest, resident or user changes.

Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy

The lock includes Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, a technology intended to facilitate communication with compatible devices while keeping power consumption low.

Integrated alarm with adjustable sensitivity

AYR Pass features an integrated vibration alarm with up to 5 sensitivity levels, allowing adaptation to the installation's needs. It also detects cylinder rotation and door-open events for extra control and security.

Configurable auto-lock

The AYR Pass includes a configurable auto-lock function, useful in shared accommodations where doors should not remain accidentally unlocked after entry or exit.

Security with AES-256 encryption

The system implements AES-256 encryption and two-factor authentication among its electronic security measures, along with anti-tampering functions.

Durable mechanics with metal gears

AYR Pass combines electronics and mechanics in a body made of ZAMAK and ABS and includes metal gearing designed for a high number of operating cycles. The manufacturer also specifies a reinforced 5 mm steel structure as part of the lock's security features.

Rechargeable 3150 mAh lithium battery

The lock operates with a rechargeable 3150 mAh lithium battery. Autonomy can reach several months depending on usage and configuration. A low-battery warning is included, and the battery is recharged via the supplied USB-C cable. Typical charge time indicated by the manufacturer is 4–8 hours with a standard compatible charger.

Mechanical key remains available

Although AYR Pass enables electronic access management, the installation keeps the option of a mechanical key as an alternative opening method, allowing door access in the rare event of a fully depleted battery.

Installation without structural works

AYR Pass is designed for installation without building works, making it easy to fit into existing doors without major modifications. We recommend checking cylinder and door compatibility before installation.

Compatible with AYR Keypad and Key Pro

AYR Pass can be combined with other AYR accessories:

• AYR Keypad: smart keypad to expand access options.
• AYR Key Pro: Bluetooth remote compatible with the lock.

Particularly interesting for shared-rent apartments

For shared-rent flats, managing access with physical keys becomes cumbersome as residents change. AYR Pass lets you integrate the apartment main entrance into a digital permission system and combine it with room locks.
