Travelling to Japan: a trip tailored to you
Japan never leaves travellers indifferent, whether they go on business or for pleasure. That's why Japan is currently one of the countries a huge number of people want to visit, and probably one of the countries that receives the most tourists year after year. However, many people think travelling to Japan is too expensive for them, and they're wrong: a trip to Japan isn't as expensive as it seems, especially if you book your flight with Ryanair.
What should we know before travelling to Japan?
Although there are really cheap flights with Ryanair's service, bear in mind that accommodation in Japan is much more expensive than in other countries, and there are few budget options. But this disadvantage isn't so great when compared with travel and accommodation prices in other countries. Taking Ryanair flights will give you the best price and excellent quality, as Ryanair focuses on offering the best fares, so it's an advantage worth knowing about before travelling to Japan (if the airline flies your route).
How can I make my trip to Japan cheaper?
Once you've landed in Japan, you can get a free visa on arrival valid for around 90 days. This visa is available to citizens of Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and the European Union, among other countries. What's more, using your credit card won't incur extra charges in this country.
On the other hand, transport in Japan is quite expensive compared with other countries: a hire car in Japan can cost around 28,300 yen (1 euro is 108 yen). So if you want to save money on transport, you can rent a bicycle.
Also, as mentioned, accommodation in Japan is very expensive, but there are cheaper alternatives such as capsule hotels. These are a good way to save money while enjoying a truly Japanese experience.
